The Library Director is responsible for leading this progressive and innovative Library with a staff of 18 FTE and $1.4m annual budget. The Director advocates for the Library, plans and oversees a comprehensive offering of valuable programs serving all facets of the community, and implements policies established by the Library Board of Trustees. The Library is a Department of the Town of Simsbury. This 40 hrs/wk position has a salary range of $70,000-$105,000 and full benefits package. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program. 6 years of progressively responsible experience in library work. A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
