Educators enhance their teaching strategies, gain new skills, and collaborate with like-minded educators and youth media experts to enable young people to express themselves using digital tools and to create media with a personally meaningful purpose. Educators from participating sites join a global network and exhibit and share youth-created media projects, including videos, documentaries, photojournalism, animations, websites, and multimedia. iEARN joined the Adobe Youth Voices program as a founding partner in 2006, and now manages and supports the program in over 16 countries around the world. SchoolNet South Africa coordinates this programme and has received sponsorships for twelve teachers to participate in the 2012- 2013 year. " If we are paying people money so they can feed their family and AREN'T then we should pay again to feed them at school? How can you hold parents accountable for feeding their children? This speaks to the very core of many of our problems in the US  - misplaced priorities. Homes have xboxes but no food? Nice shoes and empty tummies? This is upsetting on so many levels. Of course, these statements don't fit all people as they are generalities, however, making sure children are fed is an imperative. It makes me nervous, however, that the government is having to step in and feed children who aren't being fed at home because if they aren't being fed, there are much bigger problems than just a lack of food. As a person who had a time when we were completely broken by a farm gone underwater - I know what it is like to find quarters to buy milk - so this is heartbreaking. People need jobs and kids need food. It is also unfair to penalize teachers whose kids aren't learning if the kids are hungry. While you can already snap pictures of notes to Evernote - this notebook has small dots that adjust the page to make it square and remove distortion. It includes stickers that will tag the pages for you and add emphasis and included in the price of the notebook ($30) is a free subscription to Evernote premium for 3 months. I love evernote and while their tech support leaves a lot to be desired (it took me 6 months to figure out how to fix an installation glitch which was answered by another user on their forum after Evernote kept telling me just to use Revo uninstaller) -- it can't be beat for usefulness - that is why it is one of the few apps I am willing to pay for. I'll definitely be asking for this notebook for Christmas to try it out. He takes seriously the warning by King Abdullah of JORDAN back in 2004 of the danger of a <b>Shia Crescent</b> that would extend from the coast of LEBANON to AFGHANISTAN.  <b>Hezbollah</b> in LEBANON, <b>Assad </b>in SYRIA, and the <b>Shia controlled government</b> of IRAQ form the links in the chain.<br /><br />When the Arab Spring reached SYRIA, the leaders in Riyadh were given the weapon to break the chain.  Appeals from tribal leaders under attack in SYRIA to kinsmen in the GULF STATES for assistance could not be ignored.  The various blinks between the GULF STATES in several SYRIAN tribes means that SAUDI ARABIA and its close ally QATAR have connections that include at least three million people out of the SYRIAN populations of twenty-three million.  To show how deep the bonds go, the leader of the Nijris Tribe in SYRIA is married to a woman from the SAUD Family.</span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="color: red; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";">SAUDI ARABIA: ARMING THE SYRIAN REBELS IS AN EXCELLENT IDEA </span></b></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";"><br />It is no wonder that SAUDI Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal said in February that arming the SYRIAN rebels was an “excellent idea."  He was supported by QATARI Prime Minister Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani who said, "We should do whatever necessary to help [the SYRIAN opposition], including giving them weapons to defend themselves."  The intervention has the nature of a family and tribal issue that the prominent SAUDI cleric Aidh al-Qarni has turned into a <b>SUNNI-SHIA WAR</b> by promoting Assad’s death.<br /><br />The SAUDIS and their QATAR and UNITED ARAB EMIRATE allies have pledged one hundred million dollars to pay wages to the fighters.  Many of the officers of the Free SYRIAN Army are from tribes connected to the Gulf.  In effect, the payment of wages is paying members of associated tribes.<br /><br />Here, the UNITED STATES is not a welcomed partner, except as a supplier of arms.  SAUDI ARABIA sees the role of the UNITED STATES limited to being a wall of steel to protect the oil wealth of the Kingdom and the GULF STATES from IRANIAN aggression. In February of 1945, President Roosevelt at a meeting in EGYPT with <b>Abdel Aziz bin Saud</b>, the founder of modern SAUDI ARABIA, pledged to defend the kingdom in exchange for a steady flow of oil.<br /><br /></span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="color: red; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";">SAUDI ARABIA OPPOSED A SHIA DOMINATED GOVERNMENT IN BAGHDAD THAT THREATENS THE NORTHERN FRONTIER OF THE KINGDOM</span></b></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";"><br />Since those long ago days when the U.S. was establishing <b>Pax Americana</b>, the SAUDIS have lost their trust in the wisdom or the reliability of AMERICAN policy makers.  The SAUDIS urged the U.S. not to invade IRAQ in 2003 only to have them ignore SAUDI interests in maintaining an IRAQI buffer zone against IRAN.  The SAUDIS had asked the U.S. not to leave a Shia dominated government in Baghdad that would threaten the Northern frontier of the Kingdom, only to have the last AMERICAN soldiers depart in December 2011.  With revolution sweeping across the MIDDLE EAST, Washington abandoned President Mubarak of EGYPT, SAUDI ARABIA’S favorite non royal leader in the region. </span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;
