She was 79. Her death Tuesday in Napa was confirmed by The Walt Disney Co. Miller, the eldest daughter of Walt and Lillian Disney, was born Dec. 18, 1933. In later life, she remembered her father as a man who was caring and patient with his children. 'He'd take me and my sister Sharon to the merry-go-round at Griffith Park and stand there all day waiting until we were ready to go,' Miller told the San Francisco Chronicle in 1998. 'As he stood there, he kept thinking there should be more for parents and children to do together, and the idea for Disneyland was born.' Miller founded the Walt Disney Family Museum, which opened in 2009 in San Francisco's Presidio, as a tribute to her family's legacy. One of her major concerns was that her father's name had become associated more with a corporate identity than with the man himself. She also played a key role in the completion of the Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, a project started with a $50 million gift from her mother. In 1997, she bucked project leaders like Richard Riordan, the mayor at the time, and billionaire Eli Broad, who said Gehry's firm lacked the experience to execute the plans for the building's unusual curved polished steel design. At a crucial point, Miller threatened to withhold the roughly $20 million remaining of her mother's gift if Gehry was not kept on. 'I wanted something that would bear my father's name, that would come from his wealth but not be commercial,' Miller told the Los Angeles Times in September. 'I think we achieved that.' Miller's younger sister, Sharon, died of cancer in 1993. She is survived by her husband, Ronald, who owns the Silverado Vineyards Winery in Napa Valley, as well as seven children and 13 grandchildren. </div>

Let me shut off the itals lock and recap the 8 biggest moments from the craziest episode of SOA yet. VIDEO | Why Sons of Anarchy Can't Kill Off Tara 1. As a result, the screwed-over DA decides to take Tara up on her offer to turn on SAMCRO in exchange for immunity and protection for her and her children. Tara - fresh off of touching Jax's hand - is in a less-desperate place now. But she's not opposed to it.She asks for 24 hours. Just enough time for her to... 6. ... Save Bobby... ... and collect a key piece of evidence in the process. Tara discretely pockets one of the bullets she removed from his chest - a bullet belonging to the now-dead sheriff's deputy. Hopefully people go out and buy it.'' Louis Tomlinson is also frustrated and would rather people wait until the official release. He added: ''It's just frustrating when you work so hard on an album and you kind of want everyone to hear it at the same time. ''Some select fans won't listen to it until it's out, which is great. But it it not known if they will be performing old or new material or both. With all five members in their seventies, and with a combined age of 357 years, 30 years have passed since the Pythons last appeared together in The Meaning of Life. Hopes of a reunion were dashed after sixth member, Graham Chapman, died in 1989 from cancer and the other Pythons have been pursuing solo projects since the early 1980s. Certain joint projects have brought some of the Pythons back together. In 1996, Jones, Idle, Cleese and Palin starred in Jones's film adaptation of The Wind in the Willows. Gilliam was considered to voice the part of the river. Less than a decade later, Spamalot, the West End show 'lovingly ripped off' from the group's 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, saw some members briefly appear together on stage, though a full Monty Python reunion has always looked unlikely. LIST: The five best Monty Python songs That's not to say there haven't been attempts. In 1999, the five made plans to tour America as a group, but Palin left the project. His departure reportedly angered Idle. Various reasons have been given by the Pythons as to why a reunion has not happened. While Cleese highlighted the impracticalities in 2003, saying it was 'absolutely impossible to get even a majority of us together in a room, and I'm not joking'. Idle, however, suggested that it was the absence of Chapman that would prevent a reunion, joking in 2010 that it would happen 'just as soon as Graham Chapman comes back from the dead. We're talking to his agent about terms.' In 2012, Jones announced that the five members would reunite in Absolutely Anything, a sci-fi film he would be directing and had co-written. The Pythons were to voice alien characters. The word has evolved from a niche social media tag into a mainstream term for a self-portrait photograph, the editors said. Research suggested its frequency in the English language had increased by 17,000% in the last year, they added. Other shortlisted words included 'twerk' - a raunchy dance move performed by Miley Cyrus - and 'binge-watch' - meaning watching lots of TV. 'Schmeat', meaning a form of meat synthetically produced from biological tissue, was also a contender. 'Inventiveness' The word of the year award celebrates the inventiveness of English speakers when confronted with social, political or technological change. In 2004, the word of the year was 'chav', in 2008 it was credit crunch and last year it was 'omnishambles'. To qualify, a word need not have been coined within the past 12 months, but it does need to have become prominent or notable in that time. Selfie is defined by Oxford Dictionaries as 'a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically with a smartphone or webcam and uploaded to a social media website'. He apologised for the fact that it was out of focus, saying that it was not because he was drunk but because it was a selfie. This year, selfie has gained momentum throughout the English-speaking world, helped by pictures such as one of the Pope with teenagers that went viral. Judy Pearsall, editorial director for Oxford Dictionaries, said: 'Social media sites helped to popularise the term, with the hashtag #selfie appearing on the photo-sharing website Flickr as early as 2004, but usage wasn't widespread until around 2012, when selfie was being used commonly in mainstream media sources.' Selfie was added to the Oxford Dictionaries Online in August, but is not yet in the Oxford English Dictionary, although it is being considered for future use. Other words that were shortlisted included 'showrooming' - examining a product at a shop before buying it online at a lower price - and bitcoin - a digital currency in which transactions can be performed without the need for a central bank. </div>

Legendary (fictional) TV anchorman Ron Burgundy is coming to the Boston school on Dec. 4 and, in his honor, the college is renaming its communication school. Granted, the Ron Burgundy School of Communication will be in business only one day, but it's what Burgundy might call kind of a big deal. 'A visit from Ron Burgundy is a chance to engage with someone who understands the power of media, as well as hairspray, first-hand,' Emerson College President Lee Pelton said in a statement. Will Ferrell, who plays Burgundy on screen, will participate in a morning news conference, attend a naming ceremony and introduce a screening of 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,' which opens in theaters on Dec. 20. This is not the only publicity Burgundy has seen in the last several weeks. The Newseum in Washington, D.C., recently opened an exhibit dedicated to the film that features original props and a replica of Burgundy's anchor desk. There's also an underwear marketing partnership with Jockey. Ferrell's Burgundy character plans to use the day-long Emerson visit to 'share his path to journalism greatness,' according to the statement. And not a made-for-TV Hallmark-Lifetime-ABC Family-style sequel, but an actual feature film that follows up on the 1946 Frank Capra classic, which will focus on George Bailey's unlikable grandson. Karolyn Grimes, who played Zuzu in the original film, will appear in the sequel, taking what sounds like the Clarence role. Variety says this project is a collaboration from Star Partners and Hummingbird Prods, and it will be titled It's A Wonderful Life: The Rest of the Story. The goal is to get the movie into theaters in time for the 2015 holiday season. The original film starred Jimmy Stewart as a man who spends his life dreaming of the day he can leave the small town of Bedford Falls and see the world, but life keeps throwing obstacles in his path. Being the good man that he is, he repeatedly sets aside his own goals in order to be there for his friends, his family and the people of Bedford Falls. When it seems like he's about to lose everything, he considers suicide, which is when an angel named Clarence steps in and shows him what things would be like had he never been born. From what Variety reports about the sequel, it sounds like The Rest of the Story will flip that twist around on Bailey's grandson, as Grimes' character will show him how much better off the world would have been had he never been born. That sounds like it could be kind of depressing in a Ghost-of-Christmas-Yet-To-Come guilt-factor kind of way. Or maybe I'm just having a really hard time practicing my usual optimism here, as a major fan of Capra's film. On the bright side — I'll almost always find one — it's not a remake. And who knows? Maybe the new film will capture some of the magic that made the original movie a beloved holiday classic. Producer Bob Farnsworth and Martha Bolton wrote the screenplay for the sequel, and Farnsworth's quoted as saying, 'The storyline of the new film retains the spirit of the original – every life is important as long as you have friends.' That sounds somewhat similar to Clarence's parting words to George Bailey, 'Remember, no man is a failure who has friends.' Casting for the grandson won't happen until February, and Variety says producers are in talks to bring back some of the original cast members in addition to Grimes. Among the names mentioned were Jimmy Hawkins (Tommy Bailey) and Carol Coombs (Janie Bailey). Bringing Grimes in to play the angel is a nice tie-in to the original movie, in which she played Zuzu, George's adorable daughter, who caught a cold trying not to crush her prize flower on her way home from school. Part of George's breakdown involves yelling at Zuzu's teacher over the ordeal, which leads to George later getting punched in the mouth by the teacher's husband, causing George's lip to bleed. It's a chain of events that leads George to the bridge, and into the care of Clarence. And later, Zuzu's petals and George's bleeding lip turn out to be cause for celebration. Just the other day, we shared the news that NBC has set the dates for their two airings of the classic film. It's A Wonderful Life will air on NBC December 14 and again on Christmas Eve. And now it looks like we have a sequel to anticipate. </div>

Anna Gunn, who played the aggrieved enabler of Walter White on AMC's just-concluded Breaking Bad, has found her next gig. Gunn will play Detective Ellie Miller, who's investigating the death of a friend's child, in Fox's Americanized remake of BBC's Broadchurch, due next season. The remake, to be called Gracepoint, will star Broadchurch's David Tennant as Detective Emmett Carver, who's brought into the case and gets the promotion Miller thought she'd won. Gunn won an Emmy for her role as Skyler White. Also joining the cast is Jacki Weaver, who played Bradley Cooper's mother (and Robert De Niro's wife) in last fall's Silver Linings Playbook, which won her an Oscar nomination. Weaver plays Susan Wright, a mysterious loner in a trailer park who has ties to the case. Filming is scheduled to begin in January. The Governor, aka the psychotic, vindictive, and tormented character that we all love to hate returned tonight-and it was interesting. In an all-flashback episode, we found exactly what the governor (now going by 'Brian Herriot') has been up since his kill-everyone-in-sight freak-out last season. After being abandoned by his last two minions, a distraught and crazed governor met a super sweet family, and slowly but surely grew to love them. With a new girlfriend, a new daughter-figure, and a new firecracker sister-type surrounding him, The Governor has officially replaced his family and reignited his fight for life. When chased by zombies, (because that's like, totally normal in this series) the Governor and Megan (his new replacement daughter) escaped the walkers by jumping into a deep, grave-like pit. 'I'm never going to let anything happen to you,' he told her. And just when all seemed like it was going to be A-OK, the Governor looked up, and saw Martinez (his former minion) standing there. But he may not be the same sadistic, maniacal and ruthless leader of Woodbury that we remember. Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead (9/8c, AMC)will actually flash back to where we left off with The Governor ( David Morrissey) after he slaughtered most of the residents of Woodbury, fleeing into the ether for who knows where last season until he suddenly appeared outside of the prison in last week's episode. But Morrissey insists that viewers should keep an open mind about The Governor's return. Find out what's in store: AMC renews Walking Dead for a fifth season The Governor has finally returned! Where has he been since we left him? David Morrissey: Where we left him in Season 3 was a man in trauma really. The one thing about what happened to him in Episode 16 is that it wasn't a premeditated act. A red mist came over him, and he went into a blackout. That's where that terrible violence came from, a very dark, deep place inside of him. We see at the end of Season 3 that he's not happy about that. That's a very troubling discovery about himself that he can commit that kind of madness and has that capability. We pick up there. We pick up with a man dealing with the knowledge that he can be that destructive, and that's a difficult place to be. Do you think he can actually ever live a normal life again? Morrissey: I think he wants to die, but he doesn't have the ability to kill himself. He goes into the nomadic-like madness where he's just walking and trying to walk away from his past. He offers himself up as a victim of fate. He just walks into the world to see what would happen. Through circumstances, he survives. But I think there's an element of him trying to reinvent himself into a person that is good, a person that has humanity and is of value and worth. The battle that he will have is whether he can achieve that or not because he knows he's capable of violence. Why has The Governor returned to the prison? Is it pure vengeance? Hope for redemption? Morrissey: It's important to not jump to conclusions about why he's there. The knowledge we have of The Governor from last season, we'd like to think he's standing outside the prison with destruction on his mind. That might not necessarily be the case. There are many reasons why he could be standing outside the prison and why he has found his way back. We see in real life that sometimes we have to deal with our enemy by forgetting the past. Are these people changed? Are they different? Can I deal with my enemy, the person who's done me harm in the past? That's a negotiation that happens on a daily basis in the world. The Governor has to at least still hate Michonne (Danai Gurira). Is there still a part of him that has particular plans for her? Morrissey: I'm not sure about that, actually. What will happen in Episodes 6 and 7 is an emergence of a character that is different. It's a character that is possibly trying to get away from all those feelings of revenge and those feelings of destruction. There's a way that possibly they can live separately and still live securely. They don't have to be sitting at the same dinner table. There are many ways to get through this if you take negotiating into consideration rather than all-out destruction. 25 unnecessary spin-offs What can you tell us about Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and The Governor coming face-to-face? Morrissey: Rick is a very different character this season. He's making very different choices about leadership. They're also facing a different threat. There are lots of differences from last season and the characters are changing and the decisions they make are changing. We know The Governor is standing there on his own, but we don't know who he is with, we don't know the party he is with or if there are other people there. If he turned up at the gates of the prison on his own and said to Rick, 'Listen, can I come in?' there might be one answer he gets. But if he turns up with a different party of people with a different proposal, then I think Rick is intelligent enough to know that there are ways of dealing with The Governor and his other people where a compromise can work. Is there a part of The Governor who regrets what he did to Andrea (Laurie Holden) because she cared about him? Morrissey: There are parts of The Governor who wants to erase elements of his past. There are elements that he wish hadn't happened, but not just Andrea. There are things that happened in the lead-up to that that he would change. There are very few people, particularly in The Walking Dead life, who would look at their past who wouldn't change a thing. He would reassess his past, and there would definitely be things he prefers wouldn't happen for many reasons. When you were cast in the AMC pilot Line of Sight, viewers assumed it meant the end of The Governor. What's your response to that? Morrissey: The reason I was able to do that was because it's an AMC show. It's a great pilot and I really liked it, but I'm employed by The Walking Dead. I'm a Walking Dead actor. I want to be in it as long as I can like all the actors on it. I don't know what the plans are with AMC with that. I was more than happy to do it because I think it's a great show with great potential. I love doing Walking Dead and the character of The Governor, which I adore. The great thing about The Walking Dead is that you never know. I love the fact that no one is safe. It's where we work. That's what this world is. That's why it's so successful. We don't do those Star Trek moments where five guys are beaming down and four of them are regulars on the show and there's one guy you've never seen before. You think, 'I don't think he's making it back to the Enterprise.' We kill off our favorite characters some times. It's tough. The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9/8c on AMC. </div>
